If this sounds familiar…

You want to learn to swim.

You try to do what the teacher asks, but every single time, you panic.

Your teacher tells you to “just relax”, to “just trust the water…”

But they don't show you how.

So the same thing happens again.

It’s not that you can’t learn. And it’s not that you’re not trying hard enough.

It’s because swimming lessons are designed to teach you to swim.

They’re not designed to teach you how to stop panicking.

They’re two different things.

And if panic is stopping you from learning to swim, you need to deal with that bit first.

It's only then that swimming becomes possible.

So why does the panic keep happening?

Because your brain believes certain things in the water are dangerous for you.

So when you try to lift your feet, let go of the wall or put your face in the water, your brain thinks you're in danger so it tells you frightening things like: “I'm going to sink. I won't be able to get back up. I'm going to drown.”

It makes you panic to get you to stop and return to safety - to get back to the wall or get your feet down.

It's a perfectly normal response. Your brain is just trying to protect you.

But most swimming lessons don't understand this; they don't know that this is what's really happening so they don't know how to help you with it.

Instead, they focus on trying to teach you swimming skills rather than dealing with the actual reason you're panicking.

So you keep trying, hoping that eventually you'll get used to it.

But trying to learn to swim while you’re panicking is like trying to learn to drive while you’re having a panic attack.

It's just about impossible.

“I've been struggling with this for years... I joined Sarah's programme and went back to the pool thinking maybe it wouldn't work... but it did, her method works every time I try something new. It's just so effortless. It feels miraculous really. I can go under, I can float, I can stand back up and I'm now learning swimming strokes. So happy!”

Liz 62

“Every time I tried to stand back up from a float in my lessons I just couldn't. It was horrible. I genuinely felt like I would die. But I can do it now, I know how the water works and I can use it to help me rather than fighting it all the time. What a difference.”

Ruth 52

So what does work?

As long as your brain believes you're in danger, it's going to keep trying to protect you by making you panic.

So instead of repeatedly trying the things that make you panic and hoping you'll eventually get used to them, you need to teach your brain that you're safe in the water.

And that's exactly what I show you how to do in my From Fear to Freedom programme.

First, I show you a straightforward way to help your brain feel safe, so it no longer needs to make you panic to get you back to safety.

That means instead of panicking, you can now stay calm as you learn.

Then I take you step by step through all the skills you need to trust the water and learn to swim - but this time, you'll actually be able to do it because the panic will no longer be stopping you.

You go at your own pace, with my help and support along the way.

  • Putting your face in the water

  • Lifting your feet

  • Floating

  • Standing yourself back up

  • Letting go of the wall

  • Gliding and stopping

Then I'll show you how to put those skills together and start swimming breaststroke.

“I genuinely thought I’d need someone right there in the pool for this to work. I was wrong. The programme and Sarah’s support worked better than any lesson I’d ever had.”

Paul 67

“I honestly didn’t expect it to work so quickly. After two trips to the pool, I didn't need the pool noodle anymore: I was floating and standing up again without panicking. I couldn't believe I was doing it. Sarah explains things in a way that just made sense, it was all very straightforward and easy to follow”

Hi I'm Sarah

I've spent the last 10 years helping adults overcome fear and panic in the water and learn to swim.

I'm a qualified swimming teacher and coach, but I’ve specialised in helping the people traditional lessons weren't built to help - adults who want to learn but panic gets in the way.

Over the years, I've helped nearly 500 adults become calm and comfortable in the water, including people who had been trying for decades.

That’s why I created From Fear to Freedom - so you can stop spending money on lessons that just aren’t helping and finally learn to swim.

Maybe you're wondering...

"What if my fear is worse than everyone else's?"

Even if it feels that way, if you panic doing things like putting your face in, lifting your feet, floating or letting go, you're exactly who this is for.

"What if my fear started after a bad experience?"

However your fear started, you don't need to relive it or work through what happened. The way through is the same, whatever caused it

"But - I've been like this for years."

That doesn't mean it has to stay this way. I've helped people who'd panicked for decades finally do the things they thought they never could.

"Am I too old?"

No. I've helped people in their 70s and 80s. It's not too late.

"I used to sit on the side while the grandkids were in the pool. Not anymore. After all these years I can finally swim! "

Brenda, 75

If that sounds like something you'd benefit from, please email me at [email protected] and I’ll get it all set up for you - we can get started straight away.

Try From Fear to Freedom for 30 days

Most advice tells you to focus on what to do in the water.

Float. Let go. Stand up. Swim. Practise more. Try to relax.

So you keep trying.

But if you panic every time you try, you’re just repeating the same experience. Going round in circles.

That’s exhausting.

And it’s exactly where most approaches get this wrong.

The problem isn’t that you haven’t tried hard enough.

It’s that panic is stopping you learning.

So instead of asking you to keep doing the thing that panics you and hoping this time it’ll be different…

this shows you what actually stops the panic in the first place.

This is for you if...

You’re fine in water until something changes.

  • Your feet lift.

  • You try to float.

  • You let go of the wall.

  • Water hits your face.

  • You can’t touch the floor.

And suddenly you’re grabbing for the side again.

If you’re tired of wondering: “Why does this keep happening?”

Thsi is for you.

It’s Time for a Different Approach

How much longer will you:

  • Keep trying the same things that just don’t work?

  • Blame yourself for feeling ‘too scared’ or ‘not brave enough’?

  • Miss out on family holidays, wishing it could be different?

  • Spend time, energy, and money on lessons that ignore your panic – or leave you frustrated and humiliated from trying to ‘just push through’ or 'just relax'?

  • Watch from the sidelines while everyone else has fun?

  • Carry that exhausting weight of feeling like you're the only one who struggles with this?

The answer starts here. And right now it’s just £27 instead of the usual price of £47.

Your Investment

Think about what you've already spent:

Private lessons: £40-60 each

Group classes: £15-25 each

Years of trying: Hundreds of pounds

This costs less than one private lesson.

Limited Time: Just £7 (Save £40)

Why is it only £7?

Because I feel very strongly that this needs to be accessible.

Too many people have been let down; wasting time energy and money on lessons, therapy or well-meaning advice that didn’t stand a chance of working.

Not because they failed… but because the people helping them just didn't understand what was really going on - or how to help.

This challenge explains why panic keeps happening and why the usual approaches haven’t worked.

It gives you the real solution that’s been missing all along - and I truly belive that you shouldn’t have to spend a fortune to find it.

Still Have Questions?

What happens after I join?

You start with the first video and follow the programme step by step at your own pace. You'll also have three months of live community support with me, plus lifetime access to the programme, so there's no pressure to rush through it.

What if I can't make the live calls?

That’s absolutely fine.

All calls are recorded, and you can also submit questions in advance so you can still get my help even if you can't be there live

I'm already paying for swimming lessons. Why would I need this as well?

If your swimming lessons aren't helping you stop panicking, chances are that will continue unless something changes.

From Fear to Freedom helps you stop the panic that's getting in the way, so your swimming lessons can finally work.

Lots of people follow the programme alongside their lessons and find they can finally make progress.

At just £97, it could save you hundreds of pounds on lessons where you're struggling to make progress - not to mention all that time and frustration.

Can an online programme really help me learn to swim?

Yes! You learn the method at home, then take it to the pool and practise each skill at your own pace.

The videos show you exactly what to do, the poolside guides help you put it into practice, and you've got three months of my support if you need help.

You're not left to work it all out on your own.
